Training

Training is both ab initio (learner) leading to your NPPL microlight license and conversion on to the top end of microlighting and Small Light Aircraft (SLA). The course follows the British Microlight Aircraft Association (BMAA) syllabus. You will need a minimum of 25 hours before you can get your NPPL. However, it may take a little longer, as the aim is to be safe, but also to have fun. You will need a simple NPPL medical which lasts 5 years.

We offer intensive courses or, if you wish to pace yourself, you can spread your training out over a period to suit you and your circumstances.

Licensed pilots can also buy a share in one of our aircraft and enjoy flying a high performance machine at the fraction of the cost of owning your own and with no worries about maintenance and upkeep.

By purchasing a share in one of our modern aircraft, you can keep your running costs down to less than £29 per week (based on the average PPL usage).

Upgrading your NPPL to allow you to fly 4 seater aircraft up to 2000 kilos, then on to even higher ratings can be arranged.
