Swallow Aviation is a flight training school and aircraft share company based on our own airfield dedicated to the sport of microlighting. The airfield is close to the village of Wylye on the junction of the A303 and A36

Year-round flying is what we offer at one of the most attractive locations in the UK. This area has statistically the best weather in the South of England. Even the depths of winter can provide some excellent training conditions, with good visibility and smooth air, without the pressure of the busy summer skies. The Dorset/Wiltshire countryside is beautiful beyond compare even after a fall of snow.

Our aircraft are the T600 Sprint,2 Ikarus C42 and an open cockpit Thruster TST. The T600 Sprint cruises in excess of 80mph, but still has a docile stall speed of 35 knots. The Ikarus is even more impressive and with a high degree of comfort, it even has a heater! Using only slightly more than 12 litres of fuel per hour and powered by a four-stroke engine these aircraft are quiet and powerful. Both are at home either as a trainer or tourer, with most of Southern Britain and Northern France within their range.
